We started with our world-class Platinum Base, and identified the flex patterns that maximize the ski’s sweet spot on both sides. We modified the construction process to ensure consistency with every ski produced. Integrating the Viper 2.0 fin system led to all new stock settings, which provide tighter turns with more predictable finishes, and improved ease of use for fin adjustments. With the new fin setup, we also found improved binding placement for optimal speed, stability and forgiveness.
The final result – the only ski on the market that responds well to engaging the front or turning from the tail. The Platinum has always been known for its superior edge hold across course, but now that edge is holding even more direction out of the turn. The Platinum loves to move outbound off the wakes and the bevel package provides incredible stability even when the ski casts out to apex.
